Careers & money

How to earn money in LogosLife: first jobs, skills and promotions

Compare LogosLife career pay and skill requirements, complete your first work shift, and plan earnings around food, travel and rent.

This guide covers LogosLife at lagoslifeapp.app. Figures and controls describe this version’s rules, checked against the game implementation on 10 October 2026.

Which job should you choose first?

At skill level zero, Okada Rider, Market Trader, Banker are available. For the highest starting salary among those choices, Banker pays ₦11,600 per shift. Choose it in Career, then travel to the Office to work. The career names are role-play choices; all career shifts currently use the Office.

That makes Banker a practical opening option if your immediate goal is to build a rent reserve. You can choose a different career for your character’s story, and unlock more jobs through study.

These are game figures, not real-world wages. Salary is gross income: meals, travel and activities reduce the money you keep.

Why can’t I start a work shift?

Check four things: you have selected a career, you are at the Office, the game clock is between 6 AM and before 10 PM, and you have at least 20 energy and 15 hunger. A successful shift takes 60 game minutes and lowers needs, so repeating work without food or rest will eventually stop your progress.

Walking takes 40 game minutes and costs ₦0. A danfo trip takes 15 minutes and costs ₦150. If closing time is near, check whether travel will put you outside the Office’s working hours.

Build skills and earn promotions

A study action at the Library, CcHub, UNILAG or HANDI HQ takes 90 game minutes, costs ₦500 and adds 1 skill level. Software Developer requires level 3, Doctor level 5 and Oil Executive level 8. Study costs also include getting there and taking care of needs afterwards.

For your current career, every three completed shifts raises the career level, up to level five. Each level adds 25% of base pay; the increased salary applies to subsequent shifts. Switching careers resets that career’s shift count, so compare the new base salary with the promoted pay you already earn.

Keep a reserve before spending your salary

Set aside the next Saturday rent payment first. Then budget for a meal and the journey home before buying activities or studying. The Market also offers Help out at a stall: it pays ₦2,500 for 90 game minutes without choosing a career, although your needs still change during the action.

Use the rent and moving guide to turn an income goal into a housing plan. Earning game naira is part of the simulation; it is not cash earnings or a withdrawal feature.
