Lagos game map guide: walking, home entrances and day or night
Explore the LogosLife Lagos game map: move the camera, walk across open land, find your home, and understand the game clock and night lighting.
This guide covers LogosLife at lagoslifeapp.app. Figures and controls describe this version’s rules, checked against the game implementation on 11 October 2026.
Moving the map is different from moving the character
In this Lagos game, dragging the map changes what you can see. It does not move your character. Use the zoom controls to make a destination easier to select, and Find my Sim to bring the camera back to the player.
For movement, click or tap an open land area without dragging. Your character follows a route to that spot, with a Walking status during the journey. A destination marker helps you see where the route ends. While the character moves, you can still explore the view; the location control helps you find them again.
Where can your character walk?
Roads, grass, open paved areas and reachable building entrances are walkable. The route avoids solid building geometry, tree trunks and fences. Clicking a solid object does not mean that the character can pass through it.
Water separates parts of the city, so a crossing must follow a bridge. Clicking open water does not start a swim. Some seemingly short trips take a longer path around an obstacle or through a bridge. Try a clear patch near an entrance if the exact point you selected is obstructed.
Walking across the visible city and selecting an activity are separate actions. Select a location icon to open that venue’s panel, then review travel or activity costs before confirming. The directory lists the available places.
Find your own home rather than a similar building
The My Home marker follows your current rented home. Use it to return to the house view. The home door also provides the way out into town, where the player is visible on the map.
Many houses in the city are scenery, so a house-shaped model alone does not identify your saved home. If you move through the Homes panel, your home marker changes to match the new home. Check the home name in your profile when you are unsure.
Daylight follows your game clock
During active play, five real seconds advance one game minute. Activities can move the game clock further. Dawn brightens gradually, daytime keeps the city clear, and dusk fades into a darker night view with illuminated windows and street lamps.
The clock and needs pause when you leave or put the page in the background. Night is a visual change tied to game time, not your computer’s local timezone. Saving preserves the game clock and your outdoor position, so continuing does not always return you to the same daylight scene.
